The site is a 60-acre parcel of undeveloped land in northwest Naples. GGG has been designed and engineered to maximize renewable energy opportunities for the building, with the renewable energy sources integrated into the curriculum. The school program will also include over 40 learning studios, 7 skills labs, 5 resource rooms, 10 science lab, 2 art labs, 3 music studios, a wellness gym, a student union, a 1,350-seat auditorium along with all the necessary administrative and support spaces, and 2000 seat gymnasium as well as a 4000 seat stadium.
The new High School is intended to provide a high-quality learning environment for future generations of students. The future generations graduating from this new school will live in the most exciting times in history. The jobs they will have, the work they will do, and the technology they will use is evolving at such a fast pace that predictions are futile. To be best prepared to thrive in the coming age, a student will need to be a life-long learner, continually adapting to new literacies along with the traditional core literacies developed in their high school years.
