Westchester Cultural Center

Zyscovich was selected by Miami-Dade County to design a new Cultural Arts building with related support spaces, including an auditorium, gallery, classrooms, art and wet labs, and administrative office areas. The new cultural center is located in Tropical Park in Miami’s Westchester neighborhood and will celebrate its community. The building is approximately 20,000 SF, with about 33,000 SF of open plazas creating an iconic entry to the park. The project will include site features and infrastructure improvements as required to successfully integrate the facility into the existing park facilitating a variety of community functions and uses.

The design team’s mission was to design a state-of-the-art facility representing the culture, history, and uniqueness of the Westchester community.
