The Zyscovich Aviation practice has planned and designed over 6 million SF of airport facilities and focuses on a comprehensive design strategy that integrates multi-functional components, long-term strategic planning and specific contextual concerns. Several of the firm’s projects have involved modifications and improvements to existing airport terminals for utilization optimization and enhanced future flexibility. The Zyscovich Aviation design team members have all worked on several airside and landside airport improvements and have developed highly-effective management procedures to ensure the lowest possible impact to ongoing operations of airports, enhance security and develop more efficient and cohesive passenger flows.
Some of our recent aviation experience includes: a new Fixed-Base Operations Hangar at Opa-Locka Executive Airport, a new 14-Gate International Terminal at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, the Miami International Airport Public/Private Investment Partnership project for the creation of revenue generating development for 37 landside acres, the renovation and expansion of six Regional Airports in Northeast Colombia, and the New 36-Gate International and Domestic Terminals at El Dorado Airport in Bogotá, Colombia.
