Aventura ParkSquare Assisted Living Facility

The ten-story, 141,858 SF Assisted Living Facility will have 144 units and will occupy the southwestern block of ParkSquare Aventura, the area’s first pedestrian-friendly, mixed-use community. Activity and wellness are at the heart of the Aventura ParkSquare master plan concept. Narrow streets will separate three blocks that define the west side of a grand promenade that runs north-south through the center of the 7.39-acre site. The ALF will feature a pocket park, and on the central block a ten-story building with ground level retail, six levels of parking, and three levels of medical offices will serve the ALF residents and the community. A 45,000 square foot, state-of-the-art wellness center; 55,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space; a flagship select-service hotel; and 100,000 square feet of Class A general office space will also serve the ALF residents and the community. Other features of the community that were designed with ALF residents in mind include extra-wide sidewalks to enhance walkability; expansive and well-lit staircases that promote mobility; and the elimination of curbs to optimize accessibility. The project will create a sense social connectivity and will encourage an active and vibrant lifestyle.
