2600 Douglas Commercial Office Building

Zyscovich repositioned the first-Class A building in Coral Gables for the current highly competitive commercial office market in the City Beautiful. Just a block away from Miracle Mile, this building underwent a substantial remodeling that made the property a desirable location for tenants. The improvements included exterior remodeling that incorporated the cladding of the existing stair towers in the north and south facades with back-lit perforated metal panels—in a Mediterranean motif—creating a subtle and elegant glow at night. Adding to the exterior, a monumental porte-cochere for VIP drop-off serves as valet parking for a future renowned restaurant brand. The interior remodeling included new finishes, signage and lighting for the lobby, mezzanine, common areas for multi-tenant floors, and the men’s and women’s restrooms.
