Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport New Terminal 4

The scope of work included new offices for the Broward County Aviation Department. A new connector bridge allows passengers with connecting flights to walk between Terminals 3 and 4 without going through a second security checkpoint. An increase in gates from 10 to 14 provide passengers with more available destinations. The expanded concession space (from 2,128 SF to 28,000 SF) gives the passengers more food and purchase options. The design adhered to the newly implemented master plan and responded to the airport’s current needs for expansion while minimizing the need for temporary construction.
