Lake Pointe e-STEM Academy

This new school is the first public school in the state of Florida where the Kindergarten through 8-grade curriculum focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics with an environmental emphasis. The school is in the Four Corners area of Lake County on a 40-acre sloping site with a beautiful variety of Florida’s natural ecology which is integrated within the curriculum and building design. The compact three-story building is a 21st century learning environment nestled within the hills, pines and lakes found on the site. The new campus, designed for 1200 student stations, consists of a three-story, 160,000 SF facility that includes a gymnasium. The building’s core spaces include a state-of-the-art STEM Lab; Skill Career Labs including Culinary Arts, and grade-level appropriate media labs are dispersed throughout the school.
