Memorial Regional Hospital Parking Garage & Conference Center

Zyscovich used a cross disciplinary approach to effectively resolve programmatic and operational issues at Memorial Regional Hospital. The integration of office, conference and meeting space at the ground floor of the garage along the perimeter of the proposed plaza and the intermingling of pedestrian friendly services such as a coffee shop and a boutique-style retail establishment between the office, conference and meeting space activated the plaza.

Conflicts with parking, and vehicular and pedestrian circulation areas were alleviated by incorporating a subterranean parking level for high-density tandem valet parking systems. These systems include valet lifts and tier tandem parking. By locating valet service and queue lines adjacent to the plaza entrance, MRH patients, visitors and employees enjoy a safer, more pleasant and inviting arrival and pedestrian-oriented experience.
