Mulberry High School Modernization
Zyscovich planned and designed this substantial modernization and security enhancement to the 65-year-old Mulberry High School, replacing the aging school with a state-of-the-art 21st century learning facility that expands the program offering to students to include engineering, robotics, agriculture, and automotive studies.
The new building is designed to facilitate unique learning experiences and foster 21st century literacies through innovative learning environments, progressive pedagogies, collaborative settings and real-world learning experiences for a future generation of life-long learners. The modernization program incorporates new classrooms, kitchen and dining, art and music suite, science labs, gymnasium, athletic facilities, media center and auditorium. All demolition and construction work were phased to avoid disruptions to normal school activities, ensuring the school stayed operational throughout the modernization process.
